YIN
Yoga

Yin yoga represents the quieter, more surrendering aspect of ourselves, contrasting with Yang. It encourages reflection and deepens our presence in the moment through longer-held poses. As we age, we lose moisture in the deep fascia, leading to contraction and tension. By holding poses longer, Yin yoga combats rigidity and releases deeply ingrained tension, improving energy flow and clearing blockages that enhance organ health and function vital for longevity. Additionally, slowing down allows us to engage in meditation, fostering a connection to our hearts and cultivating patience, kindness, and compassion—qualities essential for our relationships.

Whether you’re a yoga practitioner, teacher, or seeking transformation, my offerings guide you to balance and renewal.

The most important aspects for me were about truly feeling the practice in my body and becoming aware of the profound therapeutic work we were immersed in.

The combination of practices created an incredibly powerful vessel. The days seemed to build towards, open us up to, and prepare us for the afternoon practice. Working with Helen and Verity together supercharged the energetic work and deepened my understanding both physically and mentally.

The six-day Yin training facilitated by Verity and Helen was more than just training—it was an experiential journey that inspired and invoked change on a cellular level. The space was held with honour and sensitivity, allowing us the opportunity to learn and grow. Thank you for this journey of feeling and growth.

Putting the theory into practice—feeling the postures and understanding the application of the meridian lines and acupuncture points—made the course deeply experiential and truly transformational. Beyond learning, it also felt like a retreat, nourishing for the soul.

The knowledge and passion shared by Helen and Verity were mind-blowing. They work so well together, perfectly complementing each other’s teaching. They held the space for all of us to explore the inner depths of ourselves with such humility and inspiration. Words cannot fully capture the power of the six days we experienced.

The wisdom of these two incredible women was truly inspiring. From the bottom of my heart, thank you both for honouring me with your time, patience, and pure love. You created a safe space where I could shed layers of myself and grow.

I am so grateful for this transformative training. What I expected to be an academic exploration of Yin Yoga and the five Chinese elements became a deeply healing experience.

The structure was perfect—sharing circles, insightful teachings, and practical sessions like meridian tracing, Chi Gong, and Yin practice brought profound connection and growth.

Whether for personal growth or teaching, this training is truly special. Thank you, Helen and Verity.
