Course details

Five element principles

We will be investigating and understanding these principles whilst working from the grosser physical to the subtler energetic, emotional and psychological layers:
Energy
We will be delving into an energetic, sensory and emotional  inquiry of the ancient meridian pathways for each element and learning how energy flows using Qi enhancement techniques, the power of the breath, yin long holds, yang elemental movement and qigong movement practices.
Emotions
An emotion is an energy release (or ‘energy in motion’). When stimulating energy we release/express our emotions.  We will learn how to identify our suppressed feelings and to express our emotions and how to inter-relate with others using TCM.
